OE stands for open edition print. LE stands for limited edition print (numbered). Both are signed by Phil Ponder and can be personalized upon request by contacting the gallery upon placing your order.

As we enter the twenty-first century the skyline of Nashville takes on a new significance, life and color. It is actually a pleasing blend of historic and modern structures with various architectural styles represented. The Cumberland River “runs through” this picture and serves as an ever flowing corridor between the business/entertainment area of downtown Music City and the revitalized East Bank.

In the foreground is the new stadium, home of Tennessee’s NFL team and the Tennessee State University football team. It brings much excitement to an area that will enjoy a much needed developmental transfusion.

On the waterfront is a popular park and the reconstructed Fort Nashborough, a likeness of the city’s first settlement. The row of buildings on First Avenue are mostly over 100 years old, but have new life with the many entertainment and restaurant venues now housed in them.

At the far left is Nashville’s new arena, home of the NHL Predators and numerous special events. To the right is the handsome Tennessee State Capitol building. In between are new and older structures which present a stirring portrait of the successful city.

Nashville – a proud and fantastic city!
