Description

OE stands for open edition print. LE stands for limited edition print (numbered). Both are signed by Phil Ponder and can be personalized upon request by contacting the gallery upon placing your order.

This print of the Nashville skyline depicts the downtown area as it appears in 2002.

The view is from Reservoir Hill in South Nashville looking to the north. From this vantage point, visitors can appreciate the beauty of Tennessee’s capitol city and its’ various architectural representations.

At the far left are historic Union Station Hotel (Romanesque), Frist Center for the Visual Arts (Art Deco) and Cummins Station office building. Further back is the Tennessee State Capitol (Greek Revival).

Among the center cluster of modern buildings are Nashville City Center, Renaissance Hotel, SunTrust Complex and the L&C Tower (first skyscraper in Nashville).

To the right are relatively new Gaylord Entertainment Center (home of NHL Predators) and Country Music Hall of Fame. Structures in the background include US Bank, BellSouth and the Nashville Coliseum (home of the Titans and Tennessee State University football teams).

Numerous other buildings and styles add interest to the cityscape.
