The Nashville Arena is a world class facility primarily designed as an entertainment and practice hall.

It was built with public funding by the Metropolitan Nashville government and was completed in December 1996. During that month, the first event was held - a holiday concert by Amy Grant and the Nashville Symphony. Since then, many personalities, groups and special events have occupied the hall.

In 1997 the Nashville Kats arena football team started with a very successful season. In October of 1998, the year of this print, the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League began their first season.

With this variety of activities - entertainment, meetings and athletics - the Nashville Arena has proven itself as a great facility for Nashville area residents and visitors to enjoy many of their favorite events.
