Nashville Adventure depicts an exciting and progressive downtown Nashville as it appears in 2009. This view of the skyline is looking to the northwest from the hill occupied by Fort Negley (historic Civil War installation) and the Adventrue Science Center. Interstate 65 is mostly hidden by the trees in the foreground.
At the left in this scene are the Tennessee Tower (state office building), Customs House (1877), Renaissance Hotel, Nashville City Center and TPAC.
The middle cluster of structures includes the FifthThird Bank Building, Viridian Condos, L&C Tower and USBank Building with the SunTrust Bank Building, Sommet Entertainment Center and Hilton Hotel in the center of the print.
On the right side are the AT&T Building ("Batman"), Pinnacle Bank Building (new 2009), Encore Condos, LP Field, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
The skyline includes several new buildings since Ponder's last panoramic depicition in 2002. This is a sign of a diversified downtown district with opportunities for many adventures in business, entertainment, education, government and various residential choices.
