The Cumberland Meadows Dairy Barn and silos are located at 2637 Pennington Bend Road. The 251-acre farm operated as a cattle farm until 1952 when Edward Strasser Sr. purchased the acreage in a foreclosure sale and moved his dairy farm from land at the end of McGavock Pike which is now airport property. The dairy operation existed from 1952 until 2012 when it transitioned back to a beef cattle farm.
