Marking the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing, this Eagle is a walking catalog of US spacecraft, from the first X-rockets to current and planned space vehicles, with over one hundred images detailing the history of aerospace exploration. 

The bird central to the design appeared on the Apollo 11 insignia patch, and subsequently on the reverse of both the Dwight D. Eisenhower and Susan B. Anthony dollar coins. The Eagle Has Landed represents generations of scientific, engineering, and aeronautical advancement, culminating in one of the greatest human achievements of all time.
