DS - Aiming High Air Force (18x24)

Aiming High is a visual history honoring the men and women of the United States Air Force, the birds they fly, and the people who work to keep our nation safe from aerial and cyber assault. The drawing features a falcon, the mascot of the Air Force Academy and the fastest animal on earth, with wings in full spread, claws poised for attack.  

The items collected in this picture represent a chronological progression of American military aviation from balloon experiments in 1862 to the present independent Air Force, with fighter planes on the bird’s wings, bombers arrayed along the tail, and specialty aircraft and support personnel represented throughout. Historic wings, medals, badges, Command & AFSC insignia combine to tell a profound story of patriotism, dedication, discipline, innovation, and esprit de corps unique to the Air Force. 

Half of the proceeds from print sales will be donated to the Air Force Association.
